To accomplish No. 2 and 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
We will pursue these objectives until every Nation in the World is reached for Jesus Christ our Lord.

We are closely knit with our local community because we believe this is the hallmark of our faith.

OUR HISTORY

RCCG City of The Great King Aberdeen is an international evangelical and Pentecostal Church. We are a part of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide. The RCCG Worldwide was established in 1952 by Rev. Josiah O. Akindayomi and is a growing church with Parishes of the church in over 178 countries of the world. Pa Josiah Akindayomi died in 1980 at the age of 71 handing over the leadership of the Church to Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

RCCG City of The Great King is an offshoot of Jesus House Aberdeen and pastored by Pastor Kola Adefihan

WHAT WE BELIEVE

We believe God the Father – Creator of Heaven and Earth, who made man in His image and likeness.

We believe that the entire Bible, both Old and New Testament, are written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit – 2 Timothy 3:16-17.

As revealed unto us by the Bible, we believe that there is only one God, Who is the Creator of both visible and invisible creatures -Genesis 1:1, Psalms 33:6-9
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. John 1:1-14; Isaiah 9:6
The Holy Spirit is the third Person in the TRINITY. He has the same power, the same glory with God the Father and God the Son – John 14:16-17; John 15:26
